An exclusive event at EARTH Marbella’s final remaining penthouse

EARTH Marbella is one such place. So, on 14 October, NVOGA, the development's appointed master agent, welcomed invited guests to an exclusive event at the Golden Mile development, offering the opportunity to experience its exceptional penthouse first-hand and discover the vision behind the project through a presentation by EARTH and its developer, Grupo ABU.
The occasion was about more than showcasing an outstanding property. It was an opportunity to explore the thinking behind one of Marbella's most prestigious new residential developments, from its architecture and carefully chosen materials to the relationship between the buildings and their surroundings.
A different perspective on Marbella's Golden Mile
The Golden Mile has never lacked exceptional homes, but EARTH enjoys a particularly appealing position. Set just behind Marbella's landmark Juan Mora-designed King Abdul Aziz Mosque, it is only minutes from the Puente Romano and Marbella Club hotels, with the Golden Mile's acclaimed restaurants, beach clubs and fashionable bars close at hand.
Yet despite its proximity to Marbella's social scene, EARTH feels remarkably connected to nature. Surrounded by green areas, with views towards the dramatic slopes of La Concha and the Mediterranean just a few minutes away, the development offers a welcome sense of space and tranquillity.
EARTH makes its mark through architecture that is striking without being ostentatious. The development comprises just 28 residences across four buildings, named Water, Stone, Wood and Sand. Designed by architectural studio T10, the project draws on natural materials, clean geometric forms and extensive glazing, with architecture conceived to complement its surroundings.
Landscaped gardens soften the contemporary buildings, while generous terraces, carefully considered positioning and an emphasis on privacy give the development a distinctly residential character.
The facilities are equally impressive. Residents have access to an outdoor saltwater swimming pool, an indoor heated pool, spa, sauna, hammam, yoga room and a fully equipped gym with Technogym equipment, alongside 24-hour security and controlled access.
The final remaining penthouse: a home that makes an impression
The centrepiece of the event was the exceptional four-bedroom duplex penthouse. With approximately 253 m² of interior accommodation and an extraordinary 325 m² of terraces, the property prioritises outdoor living without compromising on interior space.
The main living area brings together the lounge, dining room and kitchen in a generous open-plan arrangement. Expansive glazing allows natural light to flood the interiors, while ceiling heights of up to 2.7 metres enhance the sense of space.

But it is outside that the penthouse really comes into its own. The expansive terraces provide ample room for dining, entertaining and relaxing, with a private swimming pool and an outlook across the landscaped surroundings towards the mountains.

During the presentation, guests learned more about the thinking behind EARTH and the expertise involved in translating the original concept into a residential development.
Working with architectural studio T10 and construction company Alquimia, Grupo ABU has created a project that responds to changing expectations in Marbella's prime residential market, where privacy, wellbeing, outdoor space and the quality of the wider environment are increasingly important considerations.
